How do I add or remove a password on my server?

To add or remove a server password, go to your control panel and click on “Configuration.” There you can change your admin password and server password. Your server must be restarted for changes to take effect.

To do it without restarting your server, login as admin to your Ventrilo server and then right click, go to Server Admin, and then to “RCON.” A new window will popup — in that window type “password YOUR_PASSWORD” without the quotes, where “YOUR_PASSWORD” is the password you want on your server.
