Volume Normalization in Ventrilo
One of the biggest gripes about ventrilo is the fact that some people’s mics are just way too loud (or even too quiet). Luckily, there’s a quick work-around to make everyone’s volume on your end exactly the same — this is referred to as volume normalization. This feature can be enabled relatively quickly, follow these steps to enable it on your Ventrilo client:
- Open up your ventrilo client and go to “Setup.”
- Enable direct sound (check “Use direct sound”) and click on the SFX button.
- Select “Compressor” and click on “Add.” Use these settings in the compressor properties:
- Gain (this is the setting that sets the volume for all users, change at your own liking): ~15
- Attack: 0.01
- Release: ~500
- Threshold: ~30
- Ratio: 100
- Pre-delay: 4.0

lol most of the comments most people put up are so silly, from time to time i ponder if they seriously read the content material and items before leaving a comment or whether they simply just read over the post title and compose the first thing that drifts into their heads. in any case, it is useful to browse through sensible commentary every now and then compared to the very same, classic blog vomit which i oftentimes observe on the net i’m off to take up a few hands of facebook poker cheers
